We strive to create a healthy therapy space for all. This includes vulnerable and at-risk populations - older and senior adults, those undergoing cancer treatments, and others living with chronic health conditions - who represent the majority of our client base.
While the Province of Nova Scotia has lifted most mandatory pandemic restrictions effective July 6, 2022, we continue to have the following health and safety measures in place:
N95/KN95 masks are mandatory.
Symptoms / a positive COVID test
If you’re experiencing symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19, we’ll reschedule your appointment for at least seven days out.
A health screen is emailed to you for response before your therapy session.
Payment is due at the time of service via e-transfer. More on service fees.
Closed waiting area
Kindly wait in your car until your appointment time. Friends and family are also asked to wait outside while you're enjoying your MLD session. Exceptions are made for those needing caregiver supports.
Visit the NS Health website for current information.
Planning a trip? We ask you to schedule your therapy session for a week after you return. This allows a buffer for COVID-19 symptoms to appear, should you be exposed on your journey home.
Proof of vaccination for discretionary activities is no longer required by the Province - however, if you're unvaccinated/partially vaccinated, we appreciate you sharing your status to allow for enhanced safety measures as appropriate.
