Since 2002, we’ve welcomed people from across Atlantic Canada and beyond whose lives are briefly or profoundly touched by pain and swelling.
We’re focused on making a change for the better. From resolving short term pain and mobility concerns which can come with any injury or operation, to supporting those navigating the ups and downs of chronic swelling conditions.
Your wellness journey with swelling is unique. So is our integrated care model that blends MLD (manual lymphatic drainage) therapy with decongestive therapy and custom compression garments. We also offer learning and encouragement along the way.
On life’s changing course it is reassuring to have the right help, comfort, and a clearer path forward.
After assessment, Terry recommends a course of care. Your treatment plan includes therapy goals and details, and guides the pace and number of sessions.

Terry brings 23 years of expertise to the therapy table, building his practice around edema management and care. His clients’ health concerns range from the complex to straightforward with everything in between.
A Vodder certified therapist since 2006, Terry’s achieved the highest level of training in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and combined decongestive therapy. Complementary to this, he is an expert compression garment fitter trained by leading producers Medi Canada, Essity, L&R and Juzo. And he’s certified in advanced medical taping for lymphatic and scar reduction therapies. Terry is an RMT and member of MTANS.
After clinic hours, he is a home chef, (slightly obsessive) tomato grower, and outdoorsy soul. He's often found rock hounding and hiking along the Fundy shorelines.
Nancy is the friendly, knowledgeable voice you’ll encounter when calling. Before joining the MLD Clinic almost a decade ago, her career involved key roles with healthcare organizations in the nonprofit and association sectors. She puts that experience into action with client care support and overseeing many moving pieces that keep this busy clinic running smoothly. Away from the laptop, Nancy’s happy place is the ocean to swim, sail, or catch a sunset.
